I've never been on/lurked a board where people actually come out as against gay marriage. So, please indulge me. If you are against gay marriage because the Bible tells you to be against it, how to you reconcile this with the fact that many arguments for segregation were rooted in the Bible too? Did those people misinterpret the Bible? Was segregation actually morally right? Or were racists just full of crap and actually the Bible really tells us to treat people with love and tolerance like Jesus himself did?
