The first bra

I'm usually a 34 D, which allows me to squeeze into somewhat cute demi bras from Victoria's secret and such. I finally ran out of bras at home that come anywhere near fitting, so I had to take the plunge and go to Nordstrom for a new one.  34 DD. Full coverage. Le sigh. You should see this thing.  It has like 4 hooks and is made out of this super soft cozy fabric, and I'm pretty sure I could use it as a parachute! 

I will say that this full coverage Maidenform scary thing is much, much more comfortable.  Just won't be changing out of it in a locker room anytime soon!

    I've also gone from a D to DD...I'm only 10 weeks, I'm going to need back surgery by the end of this pregnancy!

    Damn....there's a lot of D+ ladies here!! I've been 34B for as long as I can remember....there's def boob spillage out of them now, which is super exciting! I'm thinking I might be in the same boat as @alicat85 ! (Hoping, at least!)

    Dang we got some busty broads up in here! I'm usually a full B or small C. I filled out my C cups and I'm now starting to find them a bit too snug. I'm kind of excited but scared to have boobs! I feel like I don't know what to do with cleavage!

    But DH is pretty thrilled ;)

    Go back to Nordstrom and tell them you want a cute bra! I bought two 2 weeks ago from nordstrom and they are cute and comfy 34Gs.
    Officially started TTC January 2012
    Dx with PCOS November 2012
    2/2013 - First round of Femara - No O
    Took 2 months to get vaccinated from the chickenpox
    5/2013 - Second round Femara - No O
    6/2013 - Third round of Femara + HCG Trigger Shot = O!
    7/18/2013 - Found out I was pregnant
    Dx with Gestational Diabetes at 28 weeks
    Dx with Macrosomia at 33 weeks
    Taking Glyburide and Metformin to control GD
    Due date is March 29th but we are moving forward with a scheduled C-Section on March 25th

    I thankfully have bras from my PG with my son in with my maternity clothes, so I pulled those out, My 42 EE puppies are back :(.  They will probably be up to a 42 EEE or F by the time this LO arrives, which means I will need to go nursing bra shopping then.  Those did not survive so I need some new ones.

    I feel like every shirt I wear is insanely inappropriate, even with a cami underneath to control the cleavage.

    Just went and got fitted for a new bra.... 40 C.... WTF boobs? Band size but not cup size yet?

    I ended up buying a bra extender and a super comfy nursing bra that should stretch up to 4 cup sizes. I was kind of excited to be a D cup. *sigh* maybe in a couple of months.

    kcasset try this one. I think it's the same one I bought in-store, and it's SUPER comfy and only $12. it has enough lining that if it's cold you can't see my nips, and I love that there is no underwire.

    Aerie also has very nice comfy bras but they all have underwire. I bought one, with a little room to grow, for wearing under sweaters for when I want extra shape.

    @FarmBoysWife - I have come to love this big scary bra - I need a strapless one for a wedding the first week of October and I am dreading shopping for that - ugh!!!  I won't even talk about the "fit" of my previous strapless bras.  Looks like something you'd see walking around Walmart at 5 am!!!

    I know it sounds weird, but maybe go for something like a corset- they always make me feel like I've got more support. Strapless bras always feel like gravity and my boobs are ripping them off.

     

    That's a good idea - and sounds like more fun to shop for right now!

    Can I ask how much the bras normally cost at Nordstrom's? I usually buy Victoria's Secret but they suck and don't last very long.

    Depends on the brand and size. Usually the bigger the cup size, the bigger the price. I paid $65 per bra - fantastie and natori brands 34g.

    I went and was fitted today. With a little room to grow both in band size and cup - 38HH!!!!!! All I can say is holy crapola!

    TTC #1 Since 7/2011

    Me: 30, PCOS with anovulation
    DH: 38, Low Morph & DE
    Rx: Metformin 500mg

    Cycle #1: Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #2: Clomid 150mg + Ovidrel = No Response, Canceled
    Cycle #3: Clomid 150mg + Follistim + Ovidrel = No response, Canceled

    Cycle #4: Femara 7.5mg + Gonal-f + Ovidrel + IUI = BFP!!!!
