in Pregnant after a Loss
Apparently my vials (hcg and progesterone),both hemoglized (sp?)...so there will be no second betas. Not this weekend anyways. I had some brown spotting this morning so I was really hoping to take comfort in good numbers. Frig.

Going old school and waiting and seeing, I guess. I have had both good and bad results with spotting, so I know it isnt always bad to spot. But still...

    Ugh, June I'm sorry! Both about the botched blood work and for the spotting. Nothing like a good MF to start the weekend, eh? Big (((hugs))) hon, and I hope the spotting stops.

    Ugh, so sorry! That sucks. I hope the spotting eases off and that all is well moving forward.
    Me: 36 yo, TTC #1 since Feb. 2012
    BFP #1, 3/12, EDD 11/9/12, MMC 3/27/12, D&C 4/10/12

    BFP #2: 11/16/12, EDD 7/25/13, MMC 12/5/12, D&C 12/6/12, Complete molar pregnancy confirmed 2/9/13, benched for 6 months until  August 2013

    IUI #1, 8/16/13 Femara + Menopur, 3 mature follicles, BFN
    IUI #2 (back-to-back, 9/12/13 and 9/13/13) Femara + Menopur, four mature follicles, BFFN
    IUI #3, 10/8/13 Femara + Menopur, six mature follicles, BFN

    BFP #3, 12/9/2013, while on treatment break, EDD: 8/22/2014  Please stick and grow, LO!

    Additional Dx: hypothyroidism, TgAb positive & anti-TPO positive, POR/DOR (2/2013), and suspected endometriosis

    I have my first ob appt on weds. They will re-draw labs if I want. Would it be any use at all? Previous beta was weds.

    You can still calculate doubling time even though the betas will be further apart :)

    Good point.

    In the meantime i am going to borrow a page from Cae Seat and day i am PUPO. Crossing fingers this LO is a keeper...or that it at least hangs on until we are back home (visiting my bro this weekend)

    I agree; have them redraw Wednesday and calculate doubling times from there. Fx spotting stays away and you all can enjoy the long weekend. xo

    How totally frustrating! I'd probably have them drawn again just for another point in time with reassuring info. I really lived appointment to appointment in my first trimester and shortening the time between getting bits of info helped me with the fear and the extra fear that came with spotting.

    BFP#2 Oct 24, 2011, natural miscarriage, EDD unknown
    After RPL testing my losses and subsequent infertility are considered unexplained.
    Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!! 
    BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!

    I'm sorry, how frustrating. I hope the spotting goes away soon.

    I dont want to jinx it, but the spotting is at bay for now. I'm hoping so bad that yesterdays spotting was implantation. It was two days after some notable cramping (baby digging in, maybe?) and was brown enough to be from that.
