Update A/S today....trying to stay calm

Today is our anatomy scan for our current pregnancy.

We got terrible news at the anatomy scan with our first pregnancy (heart was malformed - tons of follow-ups with pediatric cardiologists confirmed that baby would never survive outside of my body, even with any amount of surgery) and we ended up making the terrible decision to end the pregnancy at 21 weeks.

So, I am obviously super nervous. I know that I can have a perfectly healthy pregnancy since DD's heart was fine, but it's still really scary.

Please cross your fingers for us!

Update - baby looks good, from what they could tell at this stage. We'll have a fetal echo in a few weeks to double check. I do have a low lying placenta and low/off-center cord insertion, but the perinatologist is hopeful that it will move up and will continue to monitor me. Thank you for your support, ladies!

I'm almost out of fingers with all that's hanging in the balance for our fellow bumpies. I have two left for you though. Hoping you see a healthy and perfect little baby bouncing around. Let us know when you know!
