Today is going to blow so hard. It's already 80 degrees in my house and it's only 9 am. I want air conditioning!

    We own. We live in San Diego, and typically never need air. But this heat wave is making it brutal!

    That sucks! If it makes you feel any better my downstairs unit is broken. Someone's supposed to come look at it Monday. At least it's cool upstairs!

    DH and I are heading to Home Depot right now to look for a freestanding unit. Lets hope they aren't sold out! Otherwise it's off to grandpa's for the day

    Those portable AC units are awesome! I'm in Seattle and I've had to use it a lot this summer, surprisingly. Got it at a garage sale for $75! Best money I ever spent!

    For those of you in the heat with no ac, are you doing anything besides fans to keep lo cool? There is not one portable ac unit in sd, and lo has broken out in a heat rash. I have 3 fans on blowing on us, and I have her in just a diaper now.

    Looks like if I order on amazon it won't come till tues, which is when the heat wave ends. Ugh, looks like we're packing up and going to my parents. I just sooooo wanted to avoid that.
