We found out last week (the day before my bachelorette party) that we are expecting a 4/20 baby! Went off birth control in April of this year but figured we'd be NTNP for awhile before we got a BFP. Our first doctor's appt is on 9/10 but will only be a blood draw. Since it is my first, I've been holding off posting in case something goes wrong before that, but I'm just too excited to stay away!
My fiancé and I are getting married on Sept 21, and are thrilled that we'll be able to answer the dreaded "when are you two going to have a baby" question with "don't worry, we're on it"! So far pregnancy has been pretty easy--a bit of nausea, sore breasts, cravings for salt/aversions to sugar and I'm exhausted but can't sleep well at night. I'm super anxious with all of the "what ifs" especially as I'm a larger woman and a high risk pregnancy.
But I'm trying to just take it day by day and allow myself get attached to this baby. Someone's post said that you become a mother as soon as you find out you are pregnant, and I'm really excited to get to know all the other mommies here!
