Feeling sad and thankful.

Last night found out my step sister who was 35 weeks preg just lost her baby. Today she delivered a stillborn baby girl. She has a 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship. My step dad told me yesterday and I cried for at least 15 mins. Thinking about it now I can cry. I am so thankful to be preg and love this baby already. I had a chat with baby telling it to stick around and how I can't wait to meet him or her in April.

They are going to do an autopsy on the baby today. I just feel so bad they had the baby shower last weekend. So she has a house full of baby stuff. Step sister lives in Alabama I'm in fl not there for any of this. If i know my other step sis she has taken care of all the stuff. Saw her in July and I mean she smoked cigs and had a few drinks. I am hoping that was only in fl. She was very very close with my mom I know when we talk she will ask if I think my mom is taking care of Sophia ( love that name which obiv I would never use ).
I feel so bad I accidentally slipped on the phone with step dad about me being preg. I said something like gosh you worry about miscarriage in the first trimester like I have been. You never think you need to worry that far out. He was sooooo excited but I did not mean to slip. Obiv I won't be telling step sis about baby. I know she is strong and get through this hard time
