I'm researching birthing options.  I live 5 minutes from a small town hospital, where there is 1 OB who does NOT have good reviews.  The hospital and OB I delivered DS with is 35-40 minutes away.  

I'm considering just going back to my original OB.  WWYD?

    Yeah, it's the distance that freaks me out a bit.  It's ok in the summer/fall/spring, but the drive in the winter can be horrendous.  That's when most of my appointments would be.

    I'd go where you are most comfortable. My hospital is about 1 hour away.

    I would go back as long as it isn't 1-2 hours away. I was the same when I had DS. The local hospital was 5 mins away but I had to drive 30 mins to the OB I wanted to go to. Do what you're comfortable with. Good luck.

    My OB/hospital is about 40-45 minutes away.  It's really our only option.

    I'd take the ride. It's such an important part of your life that its not worth wondering the whole time if you're getting the best care.

    Thanks ladies. :)  I guess I just needed external confirmation that I wasn't nuts for thinking of going back to my old OB. :)
