Dr changed my due date yet again...

Went to the dr yesterday and as of my last visit I was suppose to be 12 weeks today.... My dr did another sonogram and she said that I'm 12 weeks plus a few days.... My due dates have gone from March 16 to March 13 and now we are at March 7... Anyone else's dr changed their due date????

Mine went from March 21st to March 14th. She said she would not move it again though regardless of development. I have another appt w/ scan next week- so I'm curious to see how baby is cooking!

I've always been told they keep your due date unless its off by a week or more. How confusing!

I think that's silly and undesirable (don't want to be induced before your baby is really ready if induction becomes a possibility.) The babies don't all grow at the same rate, and earlier dating ultrasounds are usually more accurate.

Mine has moved up a few days, based on my ultrasound. So I went from 3/26 (LMP) to 3/23 or 3/24 (Ultrasound). The first time, I knew exactly when I conceived, etc. this time - ??? haha

At my NT scan mine went from March 10 to Feb 28. I'm no longer a March lady...shhhhh don't tell

Mine went from Feb 22nd to March 3rd! Doctor said first appt baby was weighing 1 week & days behind. Then I went back & baby was weighing a week ahead! Then they said they would go by LMP date then they wanted to go by USD date! I expect my baby to be here end of Feb instead of March

Mine went from 3/3 to 3/8 at my last appt, but I figure baby will show up whenever he or she feels like it, so it didn't bother me too much.

This should be your last change....the 12 weeks appt seems to be when they make their official due date decision. Of course LO will likely change it as well, babies come when they want to, regardless of the date given.

This. I started with March 3rd, moved to March 9th, and now I'm march 7. I measured March 5 at the last two ultrasounds but they aren't moving it. But, my doctor told me he'd induce me on the 5th if I haven't had baby yet.

I've been due 2/27, 3/7, and 3/4! I'm sticking with March 7!

My Dr. sticks to whatever she gives you. Usually she goes off your last menstrual period. Today was my first OB appt. my due date is 3/28, and even though she did an ultrasound and measured me at 9 weeks 2 days vs. 9 weeks 6 days nothing changes as the scan is just a quick general one.

I'm sure of my dates and my first u/s was spot on. I wouldn't let them change it on me if they tried. I measured ahead early with DD and am now as we'll, but I know when I ovulated and since I have to have a c/s at 39wks I don't want it to be a day earlier than necessary.

My doctor won't change the date unless its more than a week different than what the baby is measuring.

My baby's measuring aweek ahead but they didn't change the due date.
I had my scan yesterday at 12wks, baby's measuring 13!

Wow I can't believe your dr is changing your due date like that. I think it's pretty irresponsible actually. It is so common for women to not measure where their LMP puts them. Like outside babies inside babies don't all grow at the same rate. My OB won't change due dates unless you really had no freakin clue when your LMP was, or you have measured consistently different at your A/S. Even then he only changes it if it's off by a week + and all developmental signs point to that gestational age.
