Do you mean the bald spot on the back of LO's head or hair from all over the head? My DS has hair in his crib every morning from rubbing his growing bald spot during the night.

Edit: DS is 5 1/2 months old.

  • Well, DS was born with a very full head of hair, and never lost any up to now. We had his long locks cut last week and now he's growing a bald spot. They say they can lose / grow new hair a few times before they turn 1.

I find lots of little baby hairs on his crib sheet... But I can see some short blonde hair starting to grow in under his wispy combover dark hair.

  • Oh good..we are not alone. Her bald spot is rockin and one side much thinner than other. Looking forward to a healthy mane in the future!
  • Both my girls were born with full heads of dark brown straight hair like mine. DD1 lost hers and had crazy patchy hair for months before growing gorgeous darker blond curls! DD2 is now losing hers and I'm so curious to see what she ends up with!

  • Oh yes, DS was born with a full head of hair, now he has "the monk"  hair around his head with a bit on the top, then bald everywhere else.  DH is afraid his hair will grow back in a tight bright red perm lol

  • DD1 was born with a head full of hair and lost hardly any. DD2 was also born with a lot of hair but it is shedding constantly, I don't really see any new growth other than in the lower back. I am anxious for new growth! :)
