No insurance help!

My husband just took a new job and we lost our insurance and just found out we are expecting. Any thoughts? I don't feel like a free clinic would even know what to do with me of I went there.... What should I do??

Hi there, lurking from Nov. '13. Go to the free clinic, they can set you up on Medicaid or refer your to doctors that will work with a sliding scale. As long as you and YH aren't rich they should cover your pregnancy b/c they want you to get prenatal care. No body has even asked me about my marital status

We literally just discussed this here: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/comment/76368066#Comment_76368066 Please please do not skip prenatal care! Check with you state to see if they have a program for you whie you're pregnant, most do.

Ya, please go to the free clinic if the state has no other options. They are doctors and do know what to to with a pregnancy.
