Another baby.

So we just found out we're expecting again! And we have 8 month old twins who will be 15 months old when this baby is born. We're excited about the new baby, but we weren't planning on having another so soon. We're a little nervous about having 3 under 2. Anyone else ever find themselves in this situation and have any tips?

    Oh no, it's not. Lol I made the ultrasound tech double check like 3 times. I love having twins, but two sets that close together would be scary.

    Congratulations! Man, mine just turned 8 months and I can't imagine being pregnant again!! But I also believe that everything happens for a reason...you will have the strength you need...and your LOs will probably be super close! Good luck mama....you've got this!

    I'm in a similar boat. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 14m old daughter who will be 20m or so when our twins arrive. We weren't expecting 3 under 2 or 4 under 4, or twins, or to be pregnant. I will say that as time has passed, I've become less panicked and overwhelmed, feeling less anxious and just focusing on the blessings that they'll be to us. That doesn't mean I still don't have my occasional "how in the heck will we do it?!" moments, though. So, no advice, but just an "I feel ya, we can do it!" pep talk. :-) Congrats!

    Lol thanks. It's going to be an adventure, that's for sure. I keep looking at my boys and wondering what on earth am I gonna do with three?! But it's going to be okay. Thanks for the support! :)

    Congrats!! We are in a similar boat only reversed ... DS #1 will be 18 months when the twins arrive. It is kind of crazy to think about; I just keep remembering how hard the first few months were with DS1 and multiplying that by two in my head, plus a toddler. O_o 

    But I think in the long run it's great for them to be so close in age once you get past the first year or two! (Or at least that's what I'm told. :) )

    My oldest daughter was 26 months when the babies were born.  Now my oldest is five and the babies just turned three this month. 

    It's a hard.  Be sure to get a sitter and get out of the house once a week or so.  It'll save your sanity.
