Hi ladies! Long time bumpie, first time on the BMB. Still not sure if this is real life!
I got my BFP today at the equivalent of 10 DPO (5dp5dt) and my EDD is 5/9/14. We've been trying since February of 2011. Our IF diagnoses are MFI and high NK cells. We had 2 failed IUI's last year and a chemical pregnancy from IVF last December. I never made it to a BMB that cycle because my BFP was soooo late and I was bleeding almost immediately. After a cancelled cycle and super long and complicated protocol, we finally did a FET on 8/21 of one hatching blast that was frozen during our fresh IVF. This was our last cycle before declaring financial IF.
We have 2 adorable puppies that I will AW on the regular (see siggy). I supervise foster care caseworkers and although it is demanding and heartbreaking, I do love my job. I make diaper cakes, scrapbook, and play the piano when I get access to one.
I am feeling incredibly blessed to be writing this intro. I hope I get the opportunity to settle in here and get to know you all.
