So far only 2 different types of food made me nauseous when I smelled them... Fish and pulled pork bbq with vinegar sauce... barf! Usually, I can eat those foods all the time.
The smell of anything fried sets me into gagging fits - even the thought of french fries near my mouth makes me puke in my mouth. Other than that, the smell of food doesn't bother me. It's scented things, i.e. shampoo, deodorant, lotion, odor-shield garbage bags, etc. that make me horridly ill. I can't escape the smells of hygiene... :-&

This is happening to me as we speak. I made my son fish nuggets and I had a 5 minute long gagging fit. It's the first time this has happened. Hopefully this doesn't become a problem at work.
Yesterday I totally felt like a chicken stir fry for dinner, but then when I was making it I started gagging and couldn't even eat it I couldn't do any of the dishes either, and even going into the kitchen this morning turned my stomach because the smell was still lingering. So weird. I didn't have any serious food aversions like that during my first pregnancy.
The smell of coffee brewed or in the can makes me gag. I'm usually a huge coffee drinker but have not been having even my little one allowed pregnancy cup that I permitted myself. And brewing in the house is defiantly out of the question.
