How do I lower the crib mattress?

We need to lower the mattress in our Graco Stanton crib, but I cannot find the instructions. Any advice from Graco crib owners?

Thanks!

  • I would go to the Graco website (gracobaby.com).  You should be able to find your crib's instruction manual there.

  • Thanks. Checked the manual and it doesn't really state, though I assume if I just disassemble and back-track through the online instructions I can do it that way. I was hoping not to have to disassemble.

  • I don't have a Graco, but both mine and the one at Mom's house (2 diff brands) had some screws that were on the legs...we just used an allen wrench and unscrewed the metal frame under the mattress, moved it to the position we wanted, and then screwed it back in...I wouldn't think you'd have to disassemble the whole thing.

  • the metal frame that the matters sits on should be held up by 4 metal arms.  mine has 4 positions to lower the arms, just unscrew the bolts holding them in, and line them up with the level you want now.
