Not Nauseous, just ickiness

So, I am 6 weeks 1 day today. I have had a couple momentary waves of  nauseous but fore the most part I just wake up with an icky feeling, like I need to eat something. This is very different then my first pregnancy as with him I didnt find out until  I was almost 9 weeks and only had severe cramping no nauseousness. In fact, they were so severe that neither my GP nor a Gut specialist she sent me to ever thought to give me a pregnancy test and were going to put me under for a scope because they had a ulcer! Im glad i dont have all that this time but just the ickies...and usually its taken care of with a glass of milk. Anyone else?

Re: Not Nauseous, just ickiness

  • Hi there!

I'm between 6 and 7 weeks (not too sure of my LMP), and feel queasy almost all the time since last week, but don't ever really feel the urge to throw up. I have absolutely no interest in food. Just soda water please! :)

This is my first baby and I am just trying to relax and settle into the weirdness that is pregnancy. I am hoping this feeling eases up so that I can actually enjoy eating again. Good luck to you! I hope you feel more comfortable very soon!

  • That is how I am feeling too. With my first I didn't even know I was pregnant until I started throwing up at 5 weeks and had lots of morning sickness until about 20ish weeks. I am technically 8 weeks according to my LMP (O'd super late) and no nausea or urges to vomit yet, but a general feeling of ickiness that lasts most of the day. Maybe having such a difference experience means it's a girl this time ;)

  • I felt nasty/icky from 5.5-7.5 weeks, where nothing sounded good to eat, which just made me feel worse. Luckily since then I've been feeling SO much better, thank goodness!
  • That's how I feel.. Just ugh. Like let me nap this first trimester away..
