What would you do if you had a day off, no work, no kids?
It's sad to say that right now, it would be errands for me. Probably with a day to shop for outfits for family photos. I feel constantly behind the eight ball with the amount of stuff I need to do vs what actually gets done.
Re: If I had a day off ...
I'm in the same boat. I actually did take a Friday off two weeks ago because I'd been working 14-15 hours days for a couple months and was ridiculously behind at home.
What did I do? Got UVERSE installed, organized the boys dressers, picked up the house and did 8 loads of laundry. I did read a book for an hour...so there's that.
What would I do if I had a day off work, no kids, and I was actually caught up on life? Get a pedicure, go to a coffee shop and read a book and go shopping for nothing in particular.

I have literally nothing I could do with a day off. I can't friviously spend money and go shopping and have a spa day like I used to, I hate to clean and can't make my food for Sunday this far in advance. All I have to do at home is cut the grass which I'm avoiding because DH has said for 3 days he's going to do it and then it ends up being over 90 outside.
I'd rather be at work. :-(

I'd probably start off with sleeping until like 7.
Get up and have a nice hot cup of coffee and watch the news for a half hour.
Take three hours and clean my entire house. (Maybe add in an extra hour there to empty out my extra room that is filled with stuff from when we moved, I want to make it a playroom for the girls)
(ETA) Workout for an hour (run outside if nice...which it is because this is my dream day off)
Go out for a mani/pedi.
Do a little shopping for me and the girls (and DH if he needed anything).
Pick up a few things at the grocery store to make a nice dinner.
Go home and cook without two little muchkins crawling up my leg/stove/cabinets/table.
End my solo portion of the day and have a nice dinner with everyone.
I haven't thought about this much though....
