Ethan is hating this stuff. The allergist gave us unflavored, which he spits out (with some comical force) and vanilla, which he cries through. Ugh.

Plus, the can for the vanilla says it is for children 1 year and over... 

I have a call into the allergist, but ever hear of using the vanilla for a younger baby. The allergist said I could mix the 2. 

I am going to keep trying, but so far today, in 2 bottles he has eaten maybe 4 ounces. (he should have had 10 or so by now) 

Not to mention the stuff is $40 a can... small can!

    I can't help you, but I can sympathize.  My DD was on it for a weekend when we were on the fence about continuing BFing.  She absolutely hated it.  And yeah, the cost is nothing to sneeze at.  I hope the allergist gets back to you soon; have they tried him on any other hypoallergenic formulas?

    hey!  I love ELECARE!!!!! it hads changed mine and DD's life!!!!  my dd loves the unflavored, but it took a couple bottles.  stick with it.  it is sooooo worth it!!!! no more reflux no more eczema!!!!
