I work as a dealer at a casino. Half graveyard shift half swings. Being 12 weeks pregnant and not everyone knows at work yet. So I had my very first episode of passing out while standing at my table game. My vision started to get blurry and all I can remember hearing was my floor supervisor telling me everything is ok. Next thing I know I am on the ground recovering from a black out and people trying to make sure I am conscious. Laid there for a good 5 minutes then off to the ER. They told me I could refuse it if I want but there was no choice in it. I had to think of my baby! They ran every test and my blood sugar is low and it's not safe for me not to eat for 8 hrs. I had planned on eating I promise because I was starting to feel strange before hand and was just waiting on my break. I have some of the best boss in world for tonight! If it wasn't for them trying to calm me I think I would have freaked out more than usual. So my fellow pregnant ladies... Please remember to eat healthy even if its just a tiny little snacks. I never wanna go through this ever again! It scared me to dead for the sake of my baby health and my own. I don't pray that any of you ever go through this. If it wasn't for my boss and co-workers I don't think I would have recover so calmly. And mind you there were other customers there. So please take very good care of yourself and your baby!!!
