When Frankie was younger he was always on the heavier side and built like brick shit house. We thought he was going to be pretty stout. He one year appt was at 13 months and he has leveled out at 20 pounds, he's in 25% for weight, height and head so he's proportioned as he should be. He even went from wearing a size 4 diaper at 9 months back to wearing a size 3 now. His pedi isn't concerned and he's on track for development so that's a good thing.
So I guess my question is anyone elses child this way? He's such a tiny little thing now and he used to be so damn huge it's just strange, lol!
Re: Weight/Height question
E's always been small, but over the last month or so I've had to go back to a smaller size setting on the cloth diapers, so she's slimming down some too. And she's not even walking yet!
I wish! Kellen did the opposite of Frankie, actually. He was consistently 50th % for height & weight and 95% for head size (Kellen, Kellen head like a melon) until his 9 month apt where he suddenly jumped to 90 or 95th % for everything and has held there since. My pedi says its because babies grow most in their sleep and since he hadn't been sleeping for the first 7 months of his life, he had a lot of catching up to do.
And now he is basically a monster weighing in at at least 27 pounds. I guess he is trying to catch up to his head still. (99th% now).
