Babbling to herself

LO has been really cranky this evening, so I rocked her and laid her down in her crib a little earlier than usual - Around 8 pm when she usually goes to bed between 10 and 11. For the past 45 minutes, DH and I have been listening to her through the monitor babble to herself off and on. She's definitely not upset - just cooing and gurgling, then will be quiet for a few minutes. DH said that when I was in the shower, it sounded like she was having a full fledged conversation with someone and that he was waiting for someone to talk back. And, if that would have happened, he would have called me from the car. (Um, thanks, dude). She's been STTN, about 5-7 hours at a time. Some times though, I wake up to her doing this but don't get up because she's not crying. Does anyone else's LO do this?
