Spa near Atlanta

Hey ladies, my husband is trying to gift me a spa day/weekend my choice, but has no clue where to look. SO I told him I would find a few. Everyone I look at is like mid $1500.00 I think that is a little ridiculous... Has anyone went for a spa day in Atlanta??? If so where? Thanks so much!

Re: Spa near Atlanta

  • I did one at Exhale at the Loew's in Midtown. It included facial, massage, pedicure, steam rooms, gym access (ha ha) + one night stay. Can't remember what it cost, but it was definitely under $400!

  • The biggest one in Atlanta is probably Spa Sydell but I really prefer Natural Body.  They have a few locations and you can buy just 1 or 2 services or I think they also offer packages for a spa day.  Now, if you want to make a drive, you should go to The Grove Park Inn Spa in Asheville, NC.  It is a WORLD CLASS spa and pricey but it is amazing.  I took a girls weekend trip up there a few months ago.  We stayed at a Hampton Inn b/c it was too much to stay at the Inn so you could do that (beware that the spa is only open to hotel guests on the weekend so you'll need to book your spa day during the week).

    My sister works there!
So you should probably go there.
I've never been but I will say that my sister has standards for where/whom she will work. She says Spa Sydell has a reputation for making their massage therapists try to sell clients stuff. She doesn't believe in that. If a client is genuinely interested, she'll make recommendations, but her job is to be a massage therapist, not a salesperson.
    Good Luck and Enjoy!
