1. How long have you been nursing/how old is LO (I realize the answer to these two is most likely the same!)? 16.5 months
2. If you are charting, have you been able to confirm that ovulation has returned? Yes.
3. How often is LO nursing? 2x a day. (Morning and nap time (about noon))
4. Any challenges? My LP was 5 days last cycle. I had planned to wean, but DS will not give up the morning nursing (he was sobbing and upset, so I caved). The nap nursing I use to get him to sleep, so I hate to give that one up. I've changed plans and am going to keep these 2 nursings and see what happens with this cycle, then go from there. Surprisingly, he gave up the bedtime nursing easily.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO/DH? Work! I was 24, he was 28 at the time.
1. How long have you been nursing/how old is LO (I realize the answer to these two is most likely the same!)? Almost 11 months. I've been EP'ing since 9 months or so.
2. If you are charting, have you been able to confirm that ovulation has returned? No O. No PPAF. Just hot flashes...and lots of them.
3. How often is LO nursing? Pumping 4 times a day.
4. Any challenges? Same as last week. PCOS, no PPAF, hot flashes...and the list goes on.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO/DH? At a bar. We were both out with friends. I don't remember much of the meeting - but I called the number a few days later when I was drunk. It was a fairy tale story...
1. How long have you been nursing/how old is LO (I realize the answer to these two is most likely the same!)?
17 months now
2. If you are charting, have you been able to confirm that ovulation has returned?
Yes
3. How often is LO nursing?
It all depends on the day. Normally on work/daycare days he nurses 3 times (morning, after work, before bed) and then sometimes he will STTN but others he's still up to nurse. Last night he was up 3 times in the MOTN, I'm tired. I got a +OPK this morning and I'm hoping his nursing 3x last night won't delay O.
4. Any challenges?
No, just his MSPI but I'm so used to it now it's not really a challenge.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO/DH? We met at college. His locker was close to mine and I thought he was super cute so I went for it!
New to this board - thought I would jump in on this thread since it seems to be where I fit right now 1. How long have you been nursing/how old is LO (I realize the answer to these two is most likely the same!)? 10 months
2. If you are charting, have you been able to confirm that ovulation has returned? Have not been able to consistently chart because of summer travelling. No PPAF. I did get a positive OPK today. No idea if that means I will actually O or not. Getting serious about charting this week.
3. How often is LO nursing? 4-5 times a day
4. Any challenges? We have a narrow window to conceive before we have to put TTC on hold. I do not want to give up nursing my DS but I also don't want to put expanding our family on hold. I wish AF would come back:(
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO/DH? High school sweet hearts. DS was born 2 days after our 13 year together anniversary.
1. How long have you been nursing/how old is LO (I realize the answer to these two is most likely the same!)?
19 months
2. If you are charting, have you been able to confirm that ovulation has returned?
Yes, ovulation has returned but LP is not long enough.
3. How often is LO nursing?
It was three times a day but after feeling frustrated and unable to conceive, I switched to twice. It's been really difficult because she's been having temper tantrums every day at the time I cut out.
4. Any challenges?
The first time I got pregnant on the first try so I was expecting the same the second time and it's been two months and nothing. I was so sad and disappointed. Now, I'm trying to cut back on nursing a little which is breaking my heart and my daughter's heart. It's awful but I really want to get pregnant soon. I'm going to start taking a B complex and vitex in addition to prenatals and calcium supplements.
