Cranking up the pump

Anyone else feel like they have to crank their pump up higher than in the past in order to get good effect?  Maybe it's because my supply is more regulated (or worse).  Man, when all of this is said and done I'm going to be able to pose for National Geographic.

    You may need to change your membranes. I think my boobs can handle a higher setting (since they are basically numb), but it isn't necessary to get the milk out.

    This.  Not sure why the bump is copying this twice but whatever.  And my reply is in the quote.  Anyway, I had the same membranes since Wes was born and I changed them because I had the same thing - like I felt like I had to crank it all the way up in order to get a decent flow going.  When I changed the membranes, it felt a little stronger, and I didn't need to turn it up so high. 


    Hmm I actually did just replace the membranes so its not that. Could it be that my supply was better before so it just flowed easier?

    This is me exactly. I tried changing the membranes and it didn't help me at allll! I agree with your comment about being more regulated.
