Saw the dr today due to side pain

I posted a few days ago about left side pain. It was worse the next day so I called my OB. I had an appt today w/ the NP. Originally she thought cyst or ectopic so I was kinda freaked. I had to wait 2 hours for the u/s BUT even though I'm super early we saw a HB! I'm 5w6d but the baby measured 5w/5d. I'm shocked there was a HB! And I'm so happy it's not ectopic.

No cysts so they don't know what is causing the pain but so far the baby looks great! Oh and the twin dust skipped me! So just one little baby in there. :D

    Thanks! I had a really weird experience w/ the u/s tech there. She stayed in the room when I dressed and undressed which was gross because most early u/s are vaginal and there is lots of petroleum goo to "clean up" afterwards. I've never in my life had someone stay in the room while I dressed and undressed. I was not pleased.

    Really weird that the tech stayed in the room. More importantly, really glad it was a HB and not an eptopic on the screen!!
