So it is flipping hot here these days! Tomorrow is going to be just as hot around 37 or 38 with the humidity (around 100 if you aren't in Canada). Anyway tomorrow I am gonna be out of the office for most of the day in my car, where the A/C is broken, lovely.
How short is too short for wearing shorts to work? I have nice shorts but they are kind of short! Not ass cheek showing short but not mid thigh long either! Is that too short f

    I agree with that rule. I'd also dress them up a bit to make it look more fashionable, less summer-kid-shorty, like if they are black shorts wear a flow-y blouse and heels.

    I wouldn't wear shorts to work at all unless MAYBE they were made from a dressier/suit material but I have to dress business casual - not sure what your 'normal' dress code is at work. Do you have any maxi skirts or dresses? On really hot days, I actually find them to be more cool and comfortable than shorts.
