Anyone find that a good cry helps with nausea?

I have found that when the nausea has been really intense I've broken down and cried and then have usually felt a little better. Does crying release hormones? Is this even possible? I'm 13w 3 d and still struggling with all day intense nausea.

  • I find for me that it makes it worse. I get myself all worked up and end up gagging.

  • Interesting. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on it. I hate crying and the build up of the emotions but I'm also desperate for some relief from the nausea. I'd do anything at this point!!
  • Crying helps mine! So funny, I told this to DH after discovering it and have tried it several times. It absolutely helps me.
  • Yay! I'm not alone! I thought it was weird but hey if it works there's no harm!! I'm gonna try doing a google search to find out the science behind it ... Will keep you posted!
  • not sure it helps with nausea but sure helps with my wacked out emotions!  I can't not cry some days...
  • It induces vomitting for me
