Hi, all! I was inspired by a post on TTC, but I'm adding a part 2.
1) Creative Halloween Costume Ideas for this year?
2) Most RIDICULOUS (idiotic, dumb, insane) Halloween costume you've ever seen.
I'll start:
1) I've always wanted to be a "bunch of grapes" by arranging a ton of purple balloons around a green/brown leotard...
2) I'm SO TIRED of women using Halloween as an excuse to dress like a prostitute (no offense to the profession, of course!)...

About 5 years ago I was at a loss for a costume and was going to try to be "Joe the plumber". I got a plunger and my costume morphed from there... 3 yards of furry dark brown fabric with a hole cut in the center for my head to like through, toilet paper pinned on in random places, and that plunger tied to my head with ribbon. I decided to be a toilet clog! Or poop. Whichever. People I didn't know were taking pictures of my costume. Pretty funny.
Holy crap, I almost spit out my wine. You'd owe me a glass if that were the case. It's box wine, because I'm nothing but class.

DH has more creative flair than I. 2 years ago, he went as a piece of chewing gum stuck to a shoe. I wish I had a photo to share! He wore a giant pink sheet (holes cut for arms & head) and wore a pink beret with a running shoe attached to his head. We then dowsed him in pink bubble gum body spray.

I used iron on letters to make a shirt that said "Team Ceiling" and "I'm your biggest FAN" with a picture of an actual fan. I got a foam hand (yea, like the kind Miley had at the VMAs) and glued on letters to say "Team Ceiling #1!" And I had a visor with "Go Ceiling!"
It took people a little while to figure out that I was a ceiling fan, but then I got some good chuckles out of it.

Sorry, no creative ideas here. I don't think I've ever been been into Halloween. Even when I was a kid, my mom asked me what I wanted to be for Halloween and I told her "Comfortable." LOL
My brother (who is absolutely ridiculous) wore this costume then laughed hysterically while my 80-something year old grandmother read it over and over again. Immature, yes. Absolutely worth witnessing...hell yes!

1) Creative Halloween Costume Ideas for this year? My sis was a bag of jelly beans when we were kids, clear garbage bag full of balloons.
2) Most RIDICULOUS (idiotic, dumb, insane) Halloween costume you've ever seen. hmm. I think the "sexy" ones are dumb...like sexy power ranger, sexy freddy kruger, sexy hermoine, blah. Women's halloween costumes should not automatically be slutty and revealing. Also, I see a lot of young girl costumes that are waaaayyy to sexy.
