WTF Wednesday ***child abuse/death mentioned***

It seems like everyday GD day they have some story right there on the home page, in big bold letters that has to do with some HORRIBLE story about a child that is abused, sick and dying or like today maimed and scared...I really just can't stand that stuff day in and day out. I know these are the facts of life, but for the sake of just maintaining my own sanity, it's hard for me to stomach...

    I know...they're the worst for that.  I wouldn't even be on yahoo if it wasn't for my "junk mail and coupons" email address I keep there.  They need a "hide the effing depressing news" button.

    Though on the flip side they also always have the goofy "giraffe tap dancing" or "gorilla surfing"kind of news, too.

    I'm with you Stasi!  There was yet another story on my local news website today about a child dying at daycare.  DC swears they checked on him every 15 minutes, but he still passed away.  It is so depressing and scares the shit out of me!
