Happy Tuesday, ladies! I’m taking over the check-in for the month of August while Mrs.E.07 is taking a well-deserved vacation. If you missed last week's check-in, go ahead and post an update. If you have an October EDD or loss and would like to join, jump right in with an intro!

@karing2: How is the TWW treating you? Your chart is looking great so far, FX! When do you think you will test?

@JCM285: You have your appointment this week, right? GL, and let us know how it goes!

@zapgurl44: How did the rest of the week at work go? Are you still feeling good on the Zoloft?

@spencerlynne: How did it go with the doctor? Were they able to shed any light on what's happening with your cycles?

@LydsieMarie7: Anything new with the amoeba situation? Are you still able to TTC this cycle?

QOTW: Do you have any tattoos? If so, what and where? If not, would you ever get one? Bonus for PIPs!

@LaRomana09, yes I had my appointment yesterday. It was very positive. I got AF on Saturday and it's been a killer, but I went to the gyno. anyway to ask why it's been a 60-day cycle. He told me it's not unusual at all to have a cycle like this after D&C (even 4 months later). It will probably even itself out now, but I don't have to take bc for it yet. He took some blood to run tests for ovarian problems, but he said it isn't likely, so keep your FX please! I will get results in a couple of days. We also did my annual checkup since it was coming up anyway and everything else was good. TG, I am so relieved!

QOTW: Nope, no tattoos. I have a low threshold for pain (cried when I got my ears pierced) so tattoos probably won't happen in this lifetime although I think some of them are pretty.

I'm so glad your appointment went well! It sucks waiting for things to get back to normal, but that's great that he doesn't think there are any other problems. Keeping FX for good BW results!

My QOTW: I don't have any tattoos. I think I could tolerate the pain, but I'm way to indecisive to ever pick one thing that I would want on me forever.

I stopped temping.... Need to erase today's number. I like to pretend. I hope to hold out til Sunday to test so we shall see. No tattoos.... I not really a fan.

@zapgurl44: How did the rest of the week at work go? Are you still feeling good on the Zoloft? Work is still going well, just busy. Luckily this week is slower. I have an interview for a new job today. I've still been feeling good but now I have a summer cold blah. I'm just waiting for AF to show. I know things an be wonky after but after every mc I have been spot on with 24 day cycles. Today is cd26 so I'm getting antsy but I know that it is nothing to worry about in the sense that others wait much longer. I'm just worried that 4 mc's are taking their toll on my body. Once AF shows her face I will get back on pnv, folic acid and Asa and maybe start charting. **************************qotw-I do have a tramp stamp on my back. It is a green butterfly but the wings are shaped more like a four leaf clover. My grandma practically raised me and we would always go hunting for clovers. She. Passed away from Parkinson's a few years ago so I got it in memory of her. I do want one on my foot for my angels here soon something like this but with 4 butterflies

30 minutes sounds like a reasonable amount of time, I think. Did they say when you would hear something?

Next week hopefully. But I'm not so sure if it will work out I still am waiting on another job I applied for as well. They are supposed to contact me for an interview this week. At worse maybe I can negotiate with my current job to get my old shift back.

What do you do? Job hunting is super stressful, but it sounds like you have several prospects, so that's good.

I'm a nurse. I work in the operating room. I took a temporary position last sept doing clinical informatics while transferred over to electronic charting. When I went back to my or job the gave me a later shift which I hate. I'm a pissed that I can't get my shift back since I was doing them a favor. They are the ones that asked me to take the temp position. So I'm just trying to find something that is conducive to family life.

Hi everyone...I'm EPARN. I had a m/c at 6 weeks in late Feb/early March, and my EDD was 10/22. We had a CP in June also. I started temping and charting and really paying attention in December 2012. I will be 36 in November. Starting to get discouraged, and I have a few questions for my GYN at next weeks annual exam. I did pretty well after the m/c, but lately I have been thinking a lot more about it and probably grieving now since I didn't do much grieving immediately afterwards.

@epaprn Welcome. I'm sorry you're having a harder time lately. I know for me I'm very aware of my EDD around the corner, so that could also be adding to everything that you're feeling. I hope your doctor's appointment goes well. Let us know, okay?

I'm good. I'm way too naïve... I keep getting my hopes up every month. I didn't USED to be like that before the loss... I didn't even know I was pregnant (the first time) until my period was over a week late... Now, I'm thinking about it in the days leading up to it. It's a big change...

I'm good. I'm way too naïve... I keep getting my hopes up every month. I didn't USED to be like that before the loss... I didn't even know I was pregnant (the first time) until my period was over a week late... Now, I'm thinking about it in the days leading up to it. It's a big change...

It was okay but I didn't get any answers...just a laundry list of possibilities. I was diagnosed with possible PCOS several years ago but have switched doctors a few times since then. My last doctor thought that since I was able to get pregnant with DS, it must have been a wrong diagnosis. My current doctor wants to explore the PCOS diagnosis again, check my thyroid, have me try to limit stress in my life and alter my diet some.

We will see.... :-( I'm not looking forward to the poking, prodding and guessing. Kind of discouraged about my body right now, hence why I haven't been good with tracking this cycle. DH just keeps reminding me that each step will one step closer to finding answers and peace with my body. I'm trying to look at it that way!
