It's time for the dreaded late December check in. How is everyone doing?

I realized this morning that I officially have 4 months to go. Ninja baby is going crazy in there and I'm totally fine with it. Karate chop away, kiddo! We're still Team Green, too - thanks for the support. I think our last hurdle will be registering. If we can get through that process without cracking, I think we might be good until December! My shower was finally set for early November, which makes it a little more real, too. I felt like November was a little late but then I realized it's almost a full month and a half away from my due date...so hopefully that will be plenty of time.

I'm dec 23. Still don't know the sex as we haven't had our ultrasound yet. But baby is dancing away everyday which I LOVE! And my belly looks all jiggly when LO is moving around. It's weird and hilarious!

You must have read my post about LO measuring big and being a few days ahead at my a/s! I thought I was forgotten, then I found myself at the 28th. My dr. said she was keeping my 12/31 EDD though.

Measurements showed large head, skinnier body, long legs, and weighing 12.6oz at 20w1d. Definitely DH's and my kid!

I haven't been up to much baby-wise. We did get our furniture delivered, and I got a bunch of free stuff from my BFF who had her little girl last November. DH says he wants to get the paint at Home Depot this weekend and paint the nursery, so we'll see if he still feels like that in a few days.

Are you excited about your baby shower? I found out yesterday the time and place but that's all I know.

Good luck with your registry! I never knew what they were until I joined this BMB.

Me and LO are doing great, I'm on modified bed rest now so I'm having a little freedom with the use of my Nana's wheelchair! My DH has never had so much fun wheeling me around the supermarket this morning, I had to close my eyes a few time I thought we were going to crash!

We are making a Red Velvet cake today for the first time thanks to you American ladies and your wonderful recipes. I think DH just wants to lick the bowl personally

I'm excited but nervous. I really haven't been in this area long enough to make many outside friends of my own so it will mostly be DH's family and their family friends. My bridal shower was extremely awkward - I REALLY didn't know anyone and they threw me a personal shower. Receiving bras and lingerie from complete strangers was the strangest thing I've ever done. As were the thank-you cards afterwards. "Thank you, person I don't know, for this piece of lingerie so extravagant I have no idea how to put it on. Btw, it was great meeting you!"

Red velvet is a big favorite in our family! Be careful, you might get hooked! And I'm glad you and LO are still hanging in there

Wheelchairs are fun but terrifying sometimes. They put me in one for the first time after the accident and I was thoroughly confused about where my feet went and how they went with all the ups and downs. I'm sure I looked like a complete idiot. haha

Congrats on still being team green! Also I think an early November shower is fine, that's when mine will be.

Everything is going good here. LO is starting to move around like crazy. I also start a new job today. I will be working at a daycare. I'm nervous because this is my first time working while pregnant and my DS has never been in a daycare/school setting. It's only 30 hours a week so I think it's defiantly manageable. Just freaking out a little.

Also very excited about this weekend, we are going out of town to see IL's. We haven't been "home" since October so it will be nice to see everyone. Have a happy Wednesday everyone!

Everything's going well here!

I think I may have gained my first couple of pounds - either that or the poop my body doesn't want to have weighs about 2 pounds! Took a softener last night, will take more tonight if I don't get results - haven't pooped in almost a week.

SOO jealous of you ladies who have showers to look forward to! I totes get that showers are a gift and for first-time moms, but I was really hoping someone would offer to have one for me since this is our first in 11 years and we'd been trying for so long. Oh well. We're fine getting everything we need for this little girl on our own, and I know people are super excited for us in their own way. My BFF and her hubs are going through a legal separation / divorce so I can't expect her to have time to even think about other stuff. I'll live vicariously through you all, so POST LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

At my appointment last week, I had labs drawn to check my thyroid levels (I'm hypo). Doc called yesterday and said one of my levels was a little outside of where he is comfortable, so I had my meds changed. No biggie... It should fix itself after LO is born.

My mom is coming over two days next week to help me make the crib sheets/skirt/bumper! I'm pretty excited, but not so good with a sewing machine - enter my mom. We'll also start working on the bathroom that DS and LO will share. It's in great shape, but it's painted burnt orange with a birdhouse border - was like that when we moved in here 4 1/2 years ago. So, we're going to remove the wallpaper, and then once DH gets the shower doors removed, we'll prime and paint a nice neutral color before DH puts a curtain rod up.

You have more will power then me, I gave in when SO and mom were about to find out without me, I knew one would blow it. My showers going to be November as well, I think that gives enough time to settle everything in its place.
I'm feeling okay very tired anymore but I don't sleep well at night and by noon I'm so ready to nap! I'm finally hungry again, still fighting with HG to keep it down though. And NBR we are still trying to find a new place to live. Living in a college town makes rent almost impossibly high

Congrats on staying team green!

Everything's going pretty well here. Heartburn has kicked in like crazy this week which is keeping me up at night and DS has gone on a sleep strike the past few days, so I'm a little tired.

Dreading my next appointment as I have my glucose test. Man that stuff makes me feel crappy!

Fought allergies last week which turned into bronchitis. Blah! Feeling better except the medicine is tearing up my stomach. I've lost 7lbs since Sunday! Hoping my stomach adjusts soon :-/. Was a little overweight so this put me back where I should be. Lil girl is so active

Jan 1st here. 22w today! Right now just dealing with beating the heat. A/C guys are installing central air FINALLY as I sit here.

We joined Team Blue at our a/s on 08/20. This was our 3rd u/s this pregnancy & it still showed us at that week ahead mark. Still no official change to EDD though. I just have a strong feeling we will see this little guy that last week before the new year. Who knows maybe xmas! (Not hoping for on xmas, but you get what you get & you are blessed either way!)

So happy for a DS #2! DS1 was a Dec baby (EDD as 12/21/2011 but came on 12/10/2011) I had my shower in Nov too. It seemed perfect timing. I think it is typical to have it in your 7th month.

Congrats on staying Team Green! When we decide it is time for baby #3 I plan to try & convince DH to try team green, but we'll see. I doubt he would go for it!

I'm Dec 31 team girl......Doing great beside the drum playing on my badder! Have another ultrasound in 2 weeks at my 24 week appt and can't wait to see her again!

Good here! Other than heartburn has reared its ugly head in a bad way lately and nothing seems to help! Ugh!! But baby is moving away and I think i'm starting to see movement patterns. I go back next week for another a/s since she was moving too much during the first one. Can't wait to see how much she has changed in a month!!

Christmas Eve baby and still team green as well. Not much of a bump to show off yet but they say everything looks great. I have a feeling that is going to change soon, as my ligaments around my hips are becoming more sore ( I'm assuming they are stretching). Lots of movement but it isolated to morning and night. Not much during the day.

Things here are going well! The baby is kicking like crazy which I love! I was even able to feel a kick from the outside the other day! I can't wait for DH to finally feel the baby move! My only struggles of late have been major heartburn and calf cramps at night...

I know heartburn is normal but is anyone else getting calf cramps?

Doing good here. Feeling this baby a ton more than I remember with the previous ones. I think placenta location has something to do with it.

The most interesting thing to report is that the pregnancy commenters around me can't seem to decide if I'm in impressive physical condition or a complete lazy bum. Heard both these comments recently, (while at the playground playing with my kids) "Wow, I can't believe you're able to run at this point in pregnancy!", and then later in the week, "Wow, you got winded just from trying to get off the couch?".

This pregnancy has flown by so fast compared to last time, and I am truly blessed for no real morning sickness. I am feeling the pain at this point though, and it is getting extremely hard to get comfortable and/or sleep at night. I'm so ready to meet our new little bean!

12/31 check in here! Not a whole lot new here. Just had our appointment yesterday, and gained a ton of weight! The doctor told me the baby went through a huge growth spurt so that made me feel a little better. The baby for the most part has been moving a lot, although it seems to be a little calmer today...maybe it's as tired as me! I have to do the GD test next apt. Yuck!

Yes! I get cramps in my calves at night when I stretch my legs out. I finally realize that I need to keep my feet flexed when I stretch and that helps a lot!

December 26th here, Team Blue! starting to feel him kick like crazy, cant wait until it can be felt on the outside. Gaining all the weight but dealing with it. Having a horrible time sleeping and my ankles and calves are very swollen

So happy to hear that most everyone is doing well. Things are pretty good here too. It is a bit of a bummer to be late December when there are so many of us here that are already past V-day, in the double-digits for days until EDD, already have their GTT results, etc, but I know the next few weeks are going to fly by! I'm just ready to meet her already! I want hold her and know what she will look like/who she will favor, what her personality will be like...you know, all the things!

Hello! Not too much to update on this week. I'm feeling pretty good (in a better mood than last week with less depression). Little Man is swimming around right now...he is pretty active, which I'm really happy about. It looks like my shower date is set for October 12th, and I JUST opened our registries to the "public" so I'm excited! Now if we could only get our house organized so we can start on the baby's room...

Hurray for four more months, ladies - we are getting there.

Loving finally looking pregnant and people asking questions, including airport TSA lady just now (sure I'll get sick of it soon enough!)...not looking forward to this week with the in-laws in England. If I can get through without MIL making any obnoxious comments on my food intake, body, name choices or other related issues I will feel blessed. (Not likely to happen).

I was just putting some ultrasound pics from today in my baby book and I can't believe the difference from my 7 week appointment. I can't believe that 15 weeks ago it was a little tiny speck pretty much and now it actually looks like something. What an amazing thing!! Feeling pretty good other than some hip pain but I know it could be worse so I'm trying not to complain too much!!

I'm due on December 27 and we're team blue!

This is my first pregnancy and honestly, its been the worst experience of my life. I still want to have more kids, but holy crap, this is like torture. I think I've had every symptom you can get. If it weren't for the Bump, I'd feel like the only woman in the world who hates being pregnant, but you ladies have made me feel at least a little normal despite how terrible I feel all the time.

That's a little bit of relief in itself.

I'm praying for an early baby though. I was due on December 25th and ended up being born on the 9th... so maybe my LO will be nice to me and decide to come in November.

Due dec 24! 23 weeks and team pink! Awful heartburn! Hip pain at night and pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome at night which is a pain!

December 25th and doing great! Only things I'm dealing with are heartburn and pubic bone pain. Heartburn is cool with just taking a Tums, but the pubic bone pain is pretty annoying... Makes it painful walking (especially long distances), putting on my clothes and getting in and out of bed.

I did forgot about a few leg cramps. I can usually just stretch it out, but the other night I got a toe cramp right in the middle of the grocery store. I had to try waking on my tip toes to keep it stretched and take my shoe off and try to massage my foot while standing in the aisle and it just would stop! Finally went away in about 5 minutes so I could finish shopping!

I missed checking in yesterday because of closing on our house and moving but all is well here! LO has been like a jumping bean in there but I think it's adorable except the one night she moved ALL night.

We are finally in our new house, not much thanks to me because DH wouldn't let me do anything. I'm looking forward to supervising painting this weekend since he won't let me paint either but at least I get to test the samples.

On a side note I am super excited about football starting back tonight and hoping our weather cools off soon. I'm in South Georgia on the coast so it's hard to enjoy fall and football when it's still 100degrees outside.

Well I'm late to this party.. I'm a FTM due Dec 23. I'm having a baby boy. We have started trying to paint our baby's room but my poor husband might have the brains for other things but to do anything that has to do with our home he is clueless! I think we might have to hire someone to do this job. Baby boy loves to hang around by my bladder which makes me get up and pee every 10 mins but I'm loving every moment of my pregnancy.
