One of my books says 8-14lbs is normal weight gain for this point. I've only gained 3. I'm pretty excited because I gained a total of 45 with DD and I DO NOT want that to happen again. Luckily I was able to get back to my pre preg weight after DD was born.
Re: Weight gain at 19-20 wks
B!tches! I was up 20lbs at 20wks. Damn you all!
Oh well... everyone is different, right?
I think my book said 10-15 is normal at this point. As of yesterday, I've gained 9 lbs. I'm okay with that. My doc said my gains have been perfect.
My sis is 18 weeks pg and has gained 15 lbs.
I was up 20lbs at my last appointment, which was at 19 weeks. I don't feel like I've gained that much and my doctor hasn't yelled at me, so I guess I don't really care.
I'm at 23lbs at 22 weeks.
Oh well. I'm over it.
My doctor hasn't yelled at me either (although we'll see if he does on this time on Friday). I don't know where it's going either because I don't look that big. Everyone even says that I look so small for 24 weeks. Oh well... c'est la vie.

My doctor says everyone gains differently.. some people more in the beginning, some people all along, others more in the third tri.
I've gained about 18 pounds at 22 weeks. I expressed concern to my doctor, who said I'm perfectly fine and as long as I stay within the 1 pound a week mark from here on out I'll still be within my recommended weight gain.

I broke my own rule and stepped on my scale at home two days ago. I think I'm up 20. I eat like crap though, so I'm pretty sure it's my own fault.
same here. The # sounds big (especially compared to you all) but I dont feel like I have gained anything excessive, so it must be OK.
