@loislayn23 can I just give you a big internet hug for your points in the CRAZY (ha) A14 thread about CCW? I didn't know enough to chime in, but you basically covered everything I wish I could say from the perspective of someone who actually lives responsibly with guns. I have zero knowledge about guns so I didn't want to make too many detailed statements.

I would personally never own a gun, but I do believe in the right to bear arms (although I'm still working through where exactly I fall on that issue too...conceal carry still makes me panic-y in the average citizen...)

I seriously can't even take the chick with the loaded gun in her diaper bag at the park...you've got to be freakin' kidding me.

Gah. Just finished the thread. Got past all the GIFS. There was some pretty interesting points.

I had to laugh about the mentions of Chicago being the most dangerous city for guns/shooting. If you "removed" a 10 by 10 block area in the south side of Chicago that is, like, off the chains dangerous, I bet we'd be one of the safest in America. It's seriously where 90% of violent crime happens..but that's besides the point.
