Fussy after first food?

Hi Moms... Anyone else have a little one being fussy after first feeding of solids? We are on day three of rice and after she eats she is a bit fussy. Normally she is extremely happy and easy so this is out of character for her. Just thought I'd see if anyone else had this happen. Thanks!

    Maybe gas or constipation coming on... I hear rice is notorious for that.

    Not my little one she is her normal self. But maybe like PP said may be gas or the rice is upsetting her tummy.

    Yeah, I figured. We are trying oatmeal tomorrow so fingers crossed that fares better. Thx ladies!!

    I was giving my LO a little bit of solids for a few days in a row (avocado, peas), but she didn't seem crazy about it, and she just seemed.... off. More gassy and fussy. Peas will probably do that lol... But I've decided to wait a bit before trying solids again because I don't feel like she's diggin' it right now. The fussiness could be more gas, or could be that she's not ready?
