Help please. Stopped progesterone-temps going up?

Help please. I stopped progesterone three days ago but my temps are maintaining and even went up a little this morning. I tested neg yesterday 13dpo. Should I test again? When should I test? Today or tomorrow. Should I bother getting excited or does this happen with progesterone? This is my first month taking it.

    So I caved and tested again. Another BFN. I have no idea what to think. Is it normal for temps to go up three days after you stop progesterone?! I'm so lost! I think I had an implantation dip at 8dpo. I don't want to hold on to false hope. :(

    I'm sorry that you got another BFN. :(  That's the worst feeling.  But unfortunately, after looking at your chart, I would guess you're not (but I hope I'm wrong!).  The 0.05-0.1 degree increase that happened today is probably not significant (in that your temps are not "going up").  And since the temps did drop about 0.25 degrees after you stopped the progesterone, I would guess that your body is just in a sort of holding pattern until the progesterone in your system drops enough to bring on AF.

    Also, I'm looking at when you BDed.  I don't know if you recorded every time you did, but if the only time was really 2-3 days before you O'ed (I would put your O date as day 18), I would say your chances are pretty slim.  My RE says that sperm usually only live about 2 days in the uterus/tubes, though in a few cases she has seen cases where they live longer.

    My suggestion?  Get a blood HCG test; if it comes back negative, get a big 'ole chocolate cake, eat a lot of it, have more sex, and don't temp after 3DPO to keep yourself from going crazy.  The temps in the luteal phase mean nothing anyway (the implantation dip stuff is crap).

    I agree with PPs, your progesterone probably hasn't dropped quite enough yet. Give it another day or two...sorry.

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Figures. First I have too little now too much. lol I'm so annoyed. :-/ and to boot our friends just had a baby. They got married one month before us so she looks at us and says ok now it's your turn. If only they knew we started a year before them. When I held the baby I almost cried. AND SHE DIDNT EVEN WANT KIDS!!! She caved for her husband. So not fair. Sorry for the rant. Today's gonna be a crappy day.
