Budget?

So it's that time of the month for me, and im doing our budget. Big F thinks im crazy because I do our budget 2 months out. Like ex: im working on october/November budget now that Sept is over with budget wise. So am I weird? Is this normal? How far out do you figure your budget?

    My H keeps track of what we spend and we have a spreadsheet of how much we owe in bills but we don't really budget persay. Like we don't have $x to spend on food for the month. We put everything on a credit card every month and pay it off (to get cash back) and we have a certain amount we aim to keep the cc under every month but if we go over a bit it's not a big deal.

    This is pretty much how I do mine also. Same pay time and everything.

    What does SS stand for? I basically do this. I always leave a little extra in the account after the bills are paid for that week or 2 week period and then I transfer the rest to savings.

    Usually I would reply "whats a budget", but since we overspent by way too much in July, we made our very first actual budget for August. I mean, MH always keeps track of our spending and has spreadsheets with categories and what not, but this month was the first time I was given a monthly budget for certain things. We wanted to give ourselves the bare minimum and see if we could do it and go from there. So far I'm about $50 over budget (for groceries and misc) so I'd say I'm doing pretty well!
