Newly single mom

My BF of 5 years dumped me today. Do I feel bad? Absolutely not! My baby and The Lord bring me all the joy I need right now. He's been unhappy with himself for quite some time and was constantly blaming me for his unhappiness. It got to a point where I was in such a good place, it didn't matter anymore. I wish him the best of luck as he moves off into the single life and I pray that he finds all that he needs to make him happy. Just take care of your son sir! I'm good

    I read something somewhere that more or less said God doesn't remove people from your life to make you miserable or to close doors for you.  He does it because he has better plans for you.  I didn't think this way when the father of my baby first abandoned us but I 100% feel that way today.

    I am in the same boat! My boyfriend of 5 years and I split last week and I couldn't be happier to be free of him! LO is the most important thing in your life now... well among other things. But good luck to you!
