I have a question about Betas

So I have PCOS and took clomid this cycle. I think it lengthened my LP. Anyways, I ovulated on 8/9 got a positive FRER on 8/21 and called the RE who sent me for bw.

Thursday I got a positive on a digital and he called that night to tell me I was miscarrying (hcg was 7) but ordered more bw for 8/23. He called that night to tell me it was 14 but he was concerned about m/c so ordered another beta yesterday (8/26)  which he called and said was 50.

So they are doubling, but low. He ordered one more hcg for next tuesday to get an estimate on when to schedule an u/s.

My questions are basically - if I implanted at 10 dpo, lets say (8/19) then these numbers could be normal? Or does this still not look very good?

I have had had zero spotting.

ETA: The same thing happened with my first pregnancy, but my DS is now 4 years old.

    No advice, but best of luck to you!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    My first 2 betas were low and didn't double.  21 at 7dp5dt and 27 at 9dp.  The cut-off for positive pregnancy at that clinic was 20.  They doubled after the 9dp and 9 months later (give or take) I had my daughter.  Doubling is good.  Just take it one day at a time.  good luck!

    I know I'm not a regular poster here, but thought I would update- I had another beta drawn yesterday (8 days after I drew my 50) and it was 940, so still rising appropriately. I have an ultrasound on Friday.
