  I delivered at norton but not natural. I started out trying to go natural but couldnt handle the pitocin contractions. All I can say is have a birth plan written and give it to the nurses.

  I had a friend that found that Clark Memorial was really supportive of her med free birth plan. She drove all the way there from near Bullitt Co.

  I think this is very OB specific. Talk to your doctor and make sure you have a written birth plan!

  I am a registered nurse and I used to work L&D at Norton downtown. I did very few natural deliveries there because all of the OBs want to pump everyone full of Pitocin. I wouldn't deliver there personally because it's like a factory. They want to get you in and get you out ASAP.

  Hi!  I delivered naturally at Norton Suburban about two and a half years ago and would do it again in a heartbeart!  DH and I are TTC baby #2 right now and my plans are to go natural again  I may be biased because I work at Suburban, but at the time I didn't work for Norton.  It is a wonderful hospital as far as being a patient there goes  GL!!!

  1st BFP 07/16/2014-->EDD 03/23/2015!
