OHSS? Tips? Advice? Anything?

I triggered last night and our ER is scheduled for tomorrow morning. There are 16 good sized follicles growing away in there so FX for good things!

Yesterday, my nurse called to tell me that my E2 levels had shot up over 5,000. She said this puts me at high risk of developing OHSS and that they are recommending we cancel our 5dt, freeze all of our embryos, and then attempt a FET in 6-8 weeks.

Has anyone dealt with something like this? I feel perfectly fine right now so this has completely blindsided me.

I don't know if its related but the cycle I got severe ohss I felt like I was dying within 24h of trigger. I called DH every hour begging him to come shoot me

Hey, I really hope your in the safe boat. I am post 2 weeks from trigger and I had ohss from the day after the shot, mine is only mild and I'm in so much pain! Found out yesterday that we are pregnant. After 5 long years of trying and taking time off to save more money. This is my first pregnancy and I have horrible stomach pains I go from feeling constipated to the opposite, I know tmi, sorry! Along with breast tenderness from day after trigger to being bloated and looking 6 months prego. For what I'm told it is only going to get worse before it gets better. And it could last till the 2nd trimester. I hope not cause I can't sleep, I wake up every 1hour. Good luck with everything I really hope you dont get it. I don't have experience here yet either but I've heard Gatorade too and I thought I heard once lots of protein but don't quote me on that. Hope you don't get it and everything goes smooth. Good luck!

I had it and went ahead with the transfer! The pain was horrendous for the first month, I actually intermittently had to take very small doses of narcotics b/c the pain was that bad. However, I literally woke up one morning and it was totally gone! I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl. Good luck! I'll say a special prayer for you!

Thanks for the kind replies even though they're over two months late. We had to do a 5dt of 2 embryos because they were "poor quality" and couldn't be frozen. It was terrifying to think that my OHSS would get worse because it was horrible. I ended up having a chemical pregnancy so it was all irrelevant anyway. Thanks for the well wishes.
