Pregnant after 35

*Whine

Uuuuuugh! One week left in second tri and already I'm finding it almost impossible to get comfortable to sleep! I have a pregnancy pillow and 2 extra pillows and still I am tossing around all night long! I posted on fb yesterday that I felt like my cocker spaniel turning around in circles and digging at her bed before finally laying down. I know I must look comical trying to get all my damn pillows just right every time I turn over! Sigh, I was doing so well for awhile...guess I should prepare for the challenges of third tri! Ok, pity party over. Hope you all had a good laugh picturing my antics. :)

  • I'm about a month behind you, and also feeling the sleep thief.  I revel in any night that I get more than 2 or 3 solid hours without being awake to pee or because baby starts a dance party in the middle of the night!!  Hope that you sleep restfully tonight.  Congrats on being so close to 3rd tri......time's a flying!

  • We are close in due dates im due nov 21st if I remember correctly and I feel your pain. I take up more than my fair share of the bed with my body pillow and various pillow placements. I finally get comfortable only to be awoken by a numb arm or hip and have to flip and start the process all over again. It's tiring and annoying. Good times!

  • I had pregnancy insomnia 1st time around. It sucked! I could fall asleep fine at first then would pee at 12-2 then couldn't fall asleep. I felt like I would never sleep again. Luckily DS was a great sleeper so I actually got more sleep with a newborn then when I was pregnant.

  • I think I'm right there with you ladies on only sleeping a couple hours at a time. So frustrating! And a friend told me it's only going to keep getting worse the further I get into 3rd tri. Sigh. I guess we will all suffer together. At least it's all worth it and we have a lovely ending to look forward to. Recite this daily. Rinse, repeat. LOL.
