Another RE Update

Had my appt today to make a plan for injectables cycle. I'll be doing 3 vials of Bravelle a day, a trigger, and progesterone. I feel good about the plan, but...

MH's SA results were in. We figured he'd pass with flying colors since I've been pregnant twice. But he got low scores on forward progression and percentage of normal sperm. I think he's pretty rocked. The RE still seems to think we have a good chance of conception on our own, but obviously IUI will probably be a better choice. Now we're not sure how to proceed.

In other sh*tty news, I'm switching insurance companies as of this Friday, and I found out today my new plan will only cover fertility stuff (with a $5,000 lifetime max) at ONE practice in town. And it has a terrible reputation. So I'm pretty sure we've decided to say eff it, we're just gonna figure out a way to pay out of pocket, because I LOVE my RE.

Now I'm headed to drink some, or lots, of wine.

Our RE testing found a similar situation. We have gotten pregnant 3 times but all ended in miscarriages. The SA showed my DH has only 1% normal swimmers. He was pretty devastated because he thought he had no issue since we were able to get pregnant. Our follow up with the RE is next week so I don't know what our path forward is yet.

Best of luck! Keep me updated with what you guys decide to do because we will likely face a similar situation soon.
