Ya'll have some serious gun love over there.  Some lurking discovered a 5 page thread on C&C. 

I'm all for the second amendment, and we have safely stored firearms in our home, but my mind was blown when someone suggested stashing in your gun in your diaper bag.  Whaaaaaaaaa?

    A gun in the diaper bag?  LO would love pulling that out during his daily "dump everything on the floor" rounds.

    Well I mean plenty of people carry guns in their purses and most moms don't carry both a purse and a diaper bag so I guess I see why you would carry one in the diaper bag if you usually carry in your purse. And they do make special concealed carry bags like @aimlyn9785 said. It's not my thing but I know there are a lot of women who carry and I think that as long as they are being cautious then it's not a big deal.

    I guess my concern is more what @thepinksuperhero said.  LO will go through the diaper bag in a hurry, and tries to go through other people's too.  Just seems over the top to me, IMO.

    One lady said her DH carried on a field trip.  I thought at most schools firearms weren't allowed, even if you have a permit?  I dunno, like I said, I have no problem with firearms, it just seems a little over the top to me.

    @chipmunk112511 - I'm sure you're right.  I just can't see taking my LO anywhere I felt unsafe enough to need a gun.  So, needing a gun in your diaper bag just seems so out there to me.
