Absolutely exhausted

Is there anyone else out there feeling exhausted and weak? I am not talking my normal tired pregnancy need to take a nap. I am struggling to get off the couch for anything. I don't feel like my legs are strong enough to carry me across the room. We are having our LO next Wednesday, and there is so much I need to get done

Re: Absolutely exhausted

  • Yes. It just hit me this past week (36 today). It's been about a week of debating how thirsty I really am, how badly I really have to pee etc. and I almost fell over holding my two year old standing in church on Sunday. And it had only been about 2 minutes.

  • Yes omg. I thought I was exhausted a few weeks ago, but nothing compared to how I have felt the past few days... I will be 39 weeks on Thursday, and I feel like a whale, and my energy is non existent. I get these little bursts of energy, and it only lasts an hour then I'm back in bed or on the couch.

  • Yes. I'm lethargic. I am miserable and DH just does not get it. He went in to work early this morning and worked late. I'm pretty pissed because I am really struggling with caring for DD and entertaining her all day (with no car!) I'm due Friday, but I am convinced I going to be pregnant forever.

  • Yup! I'll be 39 weeks on Friday. This is my first week of maternity leave and even though I am getting to sleep in, I'm falling over by 7, 8 at night. Bleh.

All of this! My DH says he understands but he doesn't get it. I also babysit so caring for 2 2 year olds all day then by the time he gets home and I make and clean up after dinner you think when DD needed something he would get up and get it but instead he pretends he doesn't hear her. Don't get me wrong he works hard for 60 hours a week I understand he is tired too. I just keep telling myself one more week!!!
  • I'm 35 weeks and beyond exhausted. Some of that though is because my hemoglobin is a paltry 10.1 right now and I'm taking iron supplements trying to boost that up a lot before I go into labor. I'm a nurse and my AM med pass is kicking my ass. It takes me forever because I have to sit down in between patients because I barely have the energy to stand up at my med cart. My last day of work will be this Friday due to continued BP issues and I can't wait to be off so I can get some rest and have the energy to get everything done!
  • I was feeling this way, then I got this crazy burst of energy and I've done so much over the past few days! I'm having my RCS in less than 48 hours and so very ready!!! Hope you ladies get the burst as well!!!
  • Yes, I have zero energy.

  • I have days I feel like that! Today was one of them.
  • I have been totally pooped for about a week or two now. I am really hoping for that burst of nesting energy everyone keeps talking about.
