Biopsy results

Well, my RE's office called me yesterday afternoon to give me my biopsy results. Apparently not only did the clomid not fix the LPD issues, but it made things even wonkier. I am ovulating, but not "in phase". The next step is injects.

I talked to the lady on the phone for a while and told her about the 6 week weight loss/training program I have signed up for at my gym. I want to complete that before moving on to injects. She agreed and said that our window is about 18 months post Lupron before we probably have to really start worrying about the endo becoming a problem again. That made me feel better.

Since we are OOP I guess DH and I need to decide how much we are willing to spend and how far we are willing to go. At $2,500 - $2,800 a cycle it can start to add up quickly.

So I am on birth control for the next 6-8 weeks while I complete my training program and focus on me. I am going to try to get healthy and enjoy focusing on something other than IF. Then when my program is done, we will start cycling with injects.

Although I was pretty upset last night, I am feeling better today. Although I am not religious, I do believe everything happens for a reason. So hopefully I will look back and realize how this experience has fit into the bigger plan.

Sorry about the crappy news...But it sounds like you have a good plan in place for taking care of yourself in between, both mentally and physically!

Sorry about your crappy results. Hopefully your time off will be just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. Good for your for taking time for yourself, I wish I had the discipline to do the same. Good luck!

@intuitiveblue -- thanks for the suggestion. I take an OTC super B supplement every night which I think has B6 and B12 and some other things but I don't know how much B6 it has in it. Do you take a RX B6 supplement or an OTC one?

good luck with your workout plan! sorry for the crappy news - but you are absolutely right - you will feel a little better each day

I took about 3 weeks off early in the summer because of travel plans - I was worked up about taking that time off as IF already tries my patience, but it ended up being a good thing to take my mind off of IF things for that time. I hope the same is true for you. good luck!
