low progesterone

Has anyone else heard of this? Or does anyone else have it? I had a doctor appointment today I am 8w6d an had some spotting around 6-7 weeks but no cramps. They did a ultrasound at 7w2d saw pole and heart beat. This is when they did my blood work an just told me this news today almost 2 weeks later! They prescribed A progesterone pill so hoping everything turns out ok.

    I just got the prescription as well. I just had my blood work done yesterday, and I called them this morning for the results. I have to go back in tomorrow for some more blood work to make sure it's progressing.

    It's pretty common and can be treated with progesterone meds.

    I have low progesterone as well.  I have been treated since week 5.  almost 9 weeks today.

    Thank you ladies you are very reassuring. :) I started mine today three 200 caplets a day! I go back the 24th of next month for a ultrasound and a appointment I'm just praying all is well!

    What are some normal if any symptoms with taking progesterone caplets?

    My levels jumped up to 82 from 8.0 after being on 200 three times  a day for 1 week.

    They didn't say what my level was? Just that they were a little lower then what they were comfortable with.

    I have low progesterone too. I've been taking supplements since 2DPO and will remain on them until the end of 12 weeks. 

    I don't have any side effects (besides discharge; I use the suppositories) but have heard others feeling dizzy from the pills. I don't have any experience with that though.
