blocked from facebook

One of my "friends" on facebook just blocked me because I commented on her facebook status which was "people who eat their placenta are disgusting" I responded saying "maybe you should learn the benefits before stating such an opinion" I was slightly offended since because of her ignorance on the topic she blocked me. Although her lack of intelligence now won't be flooding my news feed.

  • I do think blocking you was probably over the top. But, her comment didn't necessarily indicate that she doesn't know the benefits. I mean, I know the benefits and I still think it's gross. Her statement was certainly distasteful, but it wasn't necessarily ignorant. But, you're probably better off anyway if all of her comments are normally so negative.

  • I feel honored when I get blocked. It's rare, but it always makes me smile.
  • I mentioned this placenta business to my husband, and he was completely horrified.  I explained the encapsulation of it, and  calmed down a tad. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, or that I would even do it, but there seems to be enough positive evidence to support it.

To each his own, and respect for the rest.
