  Eh, she did you a favor if she has a pattern of posting ignorant comments and statements.  I had to defriend a girl I went to high school with because she was constantly posting Jenny McCarthy style anti-vax crap multiple times a day.  Blocking just wasn't enough.

  I do think blocking you was probably over the top. But, her comment didn't necessarily indicate that she doesn't know the benefits. I mean, I know the benefits and I still think it's gross. Her statement was certainly distasteful, but it wasn't necessarily ignorant. But, you're probably better off anyway if all of her comments are normally so negative.

  I mentioned this placenta business to my husband, and he was completely horrified.  I explained the encapsulation of it, and  calmed down a tad. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, or that I would even do it, but there seems to be enough positive evidence to support it.
