Out of breath?

I don't remember getting out of breath from any sort of physical activity until late in the third tri with #1. Anyone else feel like they're out of breath from doing hardly anything (i.e. putting clothes in the washer just caused me to be out of breath and worn out)?

I work out 4 times a week and I was out of breath walking up the stairs the other day.

Totally agree. I was ready to have a heart attack when I took a walk last night. I don't remember it until much later last time either.

We walk our dog every day on the trail in the park behind our house. I used to be able to jog it no problem and now I can't even get halfway through the walk without being out of breath. And don't even get me started and going up the stairs. It sucks.

I have been finding myself easily out of breath for quite some time now. It was the same when I was pregnant with DS.

I have been like this for a few weeks! Yesterday at the hospital I got out of breath from DH walking too fast :-( I feel like a morbidly obese person and I'm not lol!

Oh my gosh. I didn't get like this til the 3rd tri last time. And then I couldn't finish a sentence without running out of breath lol! Idk if its just bc it's so hot here but I was walking thru the airport Sunday night carrying my sleeping two year old and a back pack and I had to stop to catch my breath a few (20) times!

Me!! I thought something was wrong with me! I don't remember this happening until much later w/DS. I live in a 3 floor walk up. It's horrible. I feel like a whale and I'm not. It's usually worse at night when my belly has gotten really full throughout the day.

Last time I was facilitating classes and I would get so winded! I honestly couldn't make it through a sentence without being short of breath. My doctor said it was normal and I am starting to notice it again this time around, just about anytime I am moving!

I was also wondering if something was wrong with me...like I know I'm out of shape but I'm not morbidly obese and shouldn't get out of breath from grocery shopping or putting clothes in the washer. Ugh. Definitely wasn't expecting this so early.

Yes! I remember being out of breath by my 3rd tri with DD but this time around, I have felt like that on and off since 8 weeks or so.

Yes! I tried to sing at church this weekend and had to stop... I was so annoyed that I was out of breath. That has never happened to me before! I also did easy yard work and found myself having to take many "breathers".

I thought I was alone! I was exercising 3-4x/week before getting pregnant (1st trimester hasn't been so kind) and I just thought it was because I stopped doing so. This makes me feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one!

Yes, this happened early on with all my pregnancies. I was told it's because of blood volume, it will increase by about 50% and it starts in the 1st tri. Your body is already working harder to pump the extra blood around so it's easier to become short of breath.

Yes. I'm winded getting to my classroom on the second floor and I am a mess trying to read out loud to my students right now. I feel like I'm gasping for air constantly.
