Missing you girls!

I started back to work last week after having the summer off, and with doctor appointments almost every other day, things have been CRAZY.  I've tried to hop on and stay caught up when possible, but I've mostly been M.I.A.  I know no one noticed, but I just wanted to send lots of hugs to everyone and support since I've dropped the ball here lately!  Hopefully as we get settled into our new routine I can find time to get back on the board! xo!!
BFP#1 1/31/11 ~ CK came on her due date, 10/10/11!
BFP#2 11/20/12, EDD 7/30/13 ~ heard heartbeat at 6w2d ~ mmc discovered at 8w
1st medicated cycle ~ 6/11/13 ~ Clomid ~ BFN
2nd medicated cycle ~ 7/12/13 ~ Clomid and trigger shot ~ BFN
SHG on 8/13/13 ~ uterus looked good!
Diagnosed with DOR on 8/16/13 ~ AMH 0.27 ~ repeat AMH 0.19
3rd medicated cycle ~ 8/9/13 ~ Femara and trigger shot ~ BFN
4th medicated cycle ~ 9/4/13 ~ Bravelle, trigger shot, IUI ~ BFP! ~ EDD: 6/11/14 ~ heartbeat of 118 at 6w3d ~ mmc discovered at 9w1d

    I'll start an injectables cycle with my next period, unless my AFC is absolutely horrible and they feel too hopeless to even try.  They'll also do bloodwork again to recheck levels since my AMH was so shocking.  Yes, this cycle I switched from Clomid to Femara.  Honestly, I couldn't tell a difference between the two at all!

In my research, I found a study that said that vitamin D deficiency can falsely lower your AMH. It was not the cause in my case, but it might be worth looking into.

    I am 10dpIUI today. I'm trying to hold out until Wednesday.

    Good luck with your appointment! FX you come away with a plan that you are comfortable with and it works out perfectly!

    Just a question...to those of you with low AMH, what were your numbers? Mine is 0.27 and my RE barely acknowledged it. She said based on my age (36) and my other results, it was within range. I asked for a print out of all my blood work and it says "within range" yet doesn't list a range.

    Mine is .29 and I am officially diagnosed with DOR at the age of 35 (36 in September).  Yes, you are likely within a range, but the range is somewhat meaningless because it often is an over 35 age based range (so your number is in the normal range for anyone from 35 to 50 potentially).  Honestly, from what I have read, 0.27 is low for someone in their mid-thirties.   My doc diagnosed me as DOR when he learned my AMH was 0.53 at 35 (before it fell even further) and that my ration of LH to FSH was off (my FSH number on its own was still "normal".

    Thanks for the link! I'll have to go over it with H later.

    From googling, sounds like some Drs place more emphasis on that result than others. If I had never read this site, I would never had known it was low. Because my FSH and LH are good, RE felt that was more important to go by. The only thing she was concerned with is my prolactin in a bit elevated (35, range is 2-25), so I got restated the other day. She did say given my age, I should make a plan and move forward, but she said we're good to try naturally for a few months. My plan is if not pregnant by Dec, we seek help in Jan. I hope I made the right choice!

    It is a good sign that all your bloodwork was good! Have they done an antral follicle count?

    The NP that did the u/s on CD 3 and said all looked good but I didn't think to ask for the numbers. Didnt get paper work for my u/s results now that I think of it.
