Had my first appointment today (8w 3d).  So exciting, got to see the heartbeat!  Doctor confirmed that everything looks good and is in the right place.  Next appointment is in 4 weeks.  

I have to share a funny moment -- while the doctor was going over the do's and dont's, DH stepped on something and started to lower the exam table that I was sitting on.  Then, after he decided that wasn't a good place to stand, he stepped back and turned the office lights out!  Too funny :D

    That's is so exciting! Congrats.  I just had my first appointment but my doctor won't do an ultrasound until 10 1/2 weeks.  I'm 8 weeks now.  Glad everything went well for you with your first appointment!
